What Your Child Will Learn

Every day your child participates in creative learning experiences from each of our six learning domains that encompass multiple aspects of development.

Language and Literacy

Your child begins developing language skills from the moment they are born.Our program develops listening, speaking, reading and writing competencies to understand and to appreciate the value of literacy for enjoyment and as a means of communication.

Math and Science

Your child encounters math concepts without realizing it. These skills are useful in everyday problem-solving, even while creating and playing. Using scientific thinking and technology, your child observes and explores the environment, forms questions, makes predictions, experiments and records findings.

Physical Development

Your child participates in a specially-designed physical fitness program that develops motor skills, coordination and body control. Through our nutrition program, your child learns to develop good eating habits and make healthy choices.

Creative Arts

Artistic expression gives your child a range of responses to the world. Music, dance, dramatic play and art activities all lead to valuable brain development, creativity and self-confidence.

Social and Emotional

Every day your child builds character, self-esteem and a sense of confidence that leads to independence and working well with others.

Character Development

Character traits like how to share and show self-control, focus and empathy are just as important as reading, writing, math and science. The benefits of a balanced approach to early childhood education are well-documented.

Parent Involvement

We believe successful teamwork between parents and teachers reflect on the child's development.

That's why we have a culture of teamwork at FunCare Children's Center. There is constant interaction between parents and Teachers as we plan excursions, activities and parties.

Parent's are welcome at anytime to participate or observe our program.

Our Teachers

Our teachers are chosen for their passion for education, love for children and dedication to meeting the developmental and educational needs of children. All staff members possess excellent training, expertise and teaching experience in the area of Early Childhood Education. Many of our Teachers have thier Associates of Applied Science in Child Development Degree or are working towards earning one! In addition we have a Certified Curriculum Specialist.

All teachers have had federal background checks performed, and they are CPR & First Aid Certified. In addition, all our staff attend required educational workshops throughout the year which includes continuous hours of training in curriculum, child development, classroom arrangement, classroom management, age appropriate activities, nutrition and field trip planning.

Admission Information

FunCare Children’s Center enrolls students all year long depending on space and availability. We welcome children without regard to race, creed, sex or ethnicity. Enrollment priority is first come first serve. A waiting list is available for classrooms that have reached capacity. Should you be interested in enrolling your child, please contact us at 281-471-0050 to get more information or to schedule a tour.

If you have already toured our facility and are ready to move forward, please complete the forms provided during your tour. After completing the forms bring them along with your child’s up-to-date immunization records. Your child will also need a recent physical examination. You will be given five days to bring the release from your child's physician stating that your child is free of all communicable diseases and able to attend childcare.
